about

"This is an unhurried album - contemplative and introspective - without being forlorn or desperate. It took seventeen months to complete and a lifetime to write. There is no "yee-ha!" Rather, the sound is an amalgamation of traditional country with modern acoustic country folk and rock. The lyrics range from catchy to outright poetic." - The Ripple Effect

Keyan Keihani is an alt-country singer-songwriter from San Francisco, CA. His debut, full-length album, "Eastbound," was produced by Michael Hurwitz (Stevie Nicks, Eddie Money) and reached #6 on the Americana charts on Amazon. "Eastbound" draws on the long-lost true country twang and emotion that is absent from the modern genre. The album was written with the intent of being an "album" in its true sense -- a common theme that flows seamlessly from one track to the next, telling a story. His lyrics, especially "Good Country Night", seems to draw influence from Dwight Yoakam's "Two Doors Down", but has a sound that can have parallels drawn to Ryan Adams' "Gold" album.
